-It?s been found! The Gold Medallion for the Neillsville Winter Carnival has been found.Andrea Kruschke and her children found the medallion Tuesday evening. Andrea told me where they found it.
Andrea said, "I found the coin downtown at the Gazebo underneath a garbage can."
A couple clues really helped lead them to the coin.
"There was a couple clues," Andrea said. "The one was, Old Man Winter is tired of digging out and he needed to take a rest so I knew there was going to be a bench. And then the next clue had something to do with time and I knew that downtown they had the Sniteman Clock. So, that gave me the second clue on where it was, so we went last night and we found it."
Andrea is going to put the money towards a very good cause.
"It will go into my children's savings for their college fund," Andrea said.
Congratulations to Andrea Kruschke and her children.
