Black River Falls FFA Supports Animal Shelter

The Black River Falls FFA worked to provide support to the animal shelter during the 2021 FFA Week.

Last Monday, a group of animal-lovin’ FFA members went over to the shelter for some animal interaction time and to promote animal adoption on social media. Also during the Week, shoes were collected at the high school, middle school, Theisen’s Home-Farm-Auto, and Scholze’s Ace Hardware.

Over 1,100 pounds of shoes were donated.  A company pays the animal shelter for the shoes and then they are either renovated or recycled to benefit people in Third World countries.
