Administrator's Reports at Owen-Withee School Board Meeting, Elementary

-The Owen-Withee School Board heard the Administrator?s Reports at their meeting on Monday of last week.Elementary Principal Lance Batchelor mentioned a $500 grant the elementary received from Exxon Mobil to be spent in the area of science or math. He thanked Dee Wells, owner of the Withee Mobil Mart, for securing this funding. He also said the child development days were held on Wednesday, Feb. 5th. 22 new students were registered for 4K at the event.
Also, the 5th and 6th grade spelling bee was held on Feb. 13th at 8:30 AM in the elementary gym and Alice in Dairyland will be at the elementary school February 18th (today) to speak to students.
Finally, Parent/Teacher conferences will be held on Wed., Feb. 19th from 4-6pm and a winter activity day is being planned for February 27th in the morning. This will coincide with the Dr. Suess, ?Read In,? in the afternoon.
