CORRECTIONS, NEILLSVILLE WATER SITUATION: -Neillsville?s water is currently unfit for consumption. If you are going to cook with it or if you wanted to drink it, YOU MUST BOIL IT FIRST. HOWEVER, THE WATER IS FIT FOR BATHING. There was a misunderstanding on my part and in previous news stories I reported that the water was not fit for bathing. THAT IS FALSE. YOU CAN USE THE WATER TO BATH AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES, but it shouldn?t be used for cooking or consumption.ALSO, there was a misunderstanding regarding a notice the city utility and public works department issued. THE BOIL AND BOTTLED WATER ADVISORY MEANS USE SHOULD BOIL YOUR TAP WATER AND USE BOTTLED WATER. YOU DON?T NEED TO BOIL YOUR BOTTLED WATER.
