Employment Matters Discussed at Neillsville City Council Meeting

-The Neillsville City Council approved the resignation of a public works employee.Dennis Eddy submitted a letter of resignation to the council and will officially retire on March 3rd. In his letter, Eddy thanked the city and offered any assistance in the transition. The council approved the resignation, thanking Eddy for his years of service and wished him well.
The council then approved the hiring of Jason Kuhn to fill the vacant position. Kuhn will start on February 17th at $16.50 an hour.
The council also approved to put the former Eisner property lot back on the market. It was on the market at the end of last year with little success. However, Public Works Director Dave Flynn has said that he has received several calls on the lot again and requested the property be put back on the market.
