Neillsville Chamber of Commerce Recognition Banquet, Part 6

-The Neillsville Chamber of Commerce held their recognition banquet a week ago at the Neillsville American Legion.Dr. Greg Foster, the presenter of the awards, named the businesses that celebrated an anniversary in 2013. Memorial Medical Center was honored for 60 years of service.
"In October of 1953, construction was completed on the original Memorial Medical Center building with the help of both federal and community funds," said Dr. Foster. "Over the past 60 years, construction jobs have resulted in the opening of the Neillsville Clinic, the Country View Apartments, as well as clinics in Greenwood and Loyal. The facility has long been recognized as vital to the health and well being of residents in our area."
Bob Barth, Chairman of the Board of Directors, spoke on behalf of MMC.
Bob said, "I am honored to accept this award for Memorial Medical Center. What a 60 years we've had up there! Memorial Medical Center employs an awful lot of people in our community. Thank you very much for the support of Memorial Medical Center. We hope and are striving to be here for another 60 years. This is a vital organization in the community and we appreciate anyone that has utilized our services over the years. Thank you very much!"
