Neillsville Chamber of Commerce Recognition Banquet, Part 4

-The Neillsville Chamber of Commerce held their recognition banquet on Saturday night at the Neillsville American Legion.Dr. Greg Foster, the presenter of the awards, talked about the Agri-Business of the Year Award Winner, the Terry and Becky Byrne Family.
Dr. Foster said, "The Agri-Business of the Year Award goes to the Terry and Becky Byrne family. The Byrne family's dairy farm consists of 274 owned and 127 rented acres with a heard of 94 cows and 90 head of young stock. They have been honored a number of years by the Clark County Dairy Promotion Committee with the somatic cell account award for the quality of their milk."
Terry Byrne and his family talked were very grateful for the award and Terry joked about his time hosting the Neillsville Diary Breakfast last year.
Terry Byrne said, "I just want to thank the chamber. They were a great help, especially Deanna. I couldn't have picked a worst year to have the dairy breakfast. I wanted to have it for many years and I thought, 'well, maybe this year it will be a sunny day.' It didn't rain, but there was a lot of wet weather prior and Deanna and me were on the phone frequently trying to come up with Plan B, C, D, and E, but things worked out."
