Marshfield Man Sentenced for Possession of Child Pornography

-A Marshfield man was sentenced to 10 years in prison in federal court on Wednesday for possession of child pornography.The Marshfield Police Department found close to 3,000 images on his computer and cell phone including 12 videos. He would use the phone to download the images and then he?d arrange them on his computer.
53-year-old James Pearson has sex convictions going back to the early 1980s. Pearson told police he didn?t think he would be caught in this case because he used someone else?s computer and internet connection.
Pearson?s attorney argued that his nature is due to some of his childhood being in foster care and, when he returned home, he was abused by his stepfather.
