Greenwood FBLA Hosts Region II Leadership Conference

-The Greenwood School District and FBLA class hosted the 2014 Region II Leadership Conference on Saturday.22 schools competed in the Region II Leadership Conference including many local schools like Greenwood, Loyal, Owen-Withee, Spencer, Thorp, Colby, Abbottsford, Athens, Marshfield, and Pittsville.
There were a wide variety of events that the students competed in like Accounting, Business Law, Desktop Publishing, Global Business, Job Interview and more.
There was also workshops put on by Greenwood FBLA students and business owners as well as Future Fair Booths set up by various four-year and technical colleges.
Many of the local schools placed with in the top five for their event. Greenwood took 1st place in Business Procedures and Marshfield took 3rd. Loyal took first in Computer Applications with 2nd going to Thorp and 3rd to Greenwood. Greenwood also took first in Database Desgin and Applications and Electronic Video Production. Abbotsford took 1st in E-Business and Marshfield took 1st in Hospitality Speaking. Congratulations to all schools.
