Unity Home Destroyed By Fire

-A Unity home was completed destroyed in a fire on Saturday.The fire occurred around 10:15 on Saturday at 5221 East Salter Road in Unity which is south of Abbotsford near Highway 13.
The Spencer Fire Department, along with the Colby and Abbotsford Fire Department, fought the fire for 5 and half hours. When they arrived the garage was completely engulfed in flames as was half of the house.
There were people home at the time of the fire, but they were able to escape without injury. It is believed that the fire started in the garage.
