Medford Man Makes Court Appearance

A 42 year old Medford man made his intial appearance in Taylor County Court on Friday after being arrested for an armed standoff with local police on Tuesday.Timothy R. Phillips received a $10,000 cash bond with further conditions including no consumption or possession of alcohol and no possession of firearms.
The Taylor County Sheriff?s Office has requested that following charges be filed against Mr. Phillips. Endangering safety by intoxicated use of a weapon, second degree reckless endanger of safety, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct.
The Taylor County District Attorney will make the final decision on the charges.
