Black River Fall Man Sentenced for 6th OWI

-A Black River Falls man was sentenced for his 6th OWI in Jackson County Court on Wednesday.
Back in July of 2018, the Jackson County Sheriff’s Department received a report of a one vehicle accident in the Town of Albion. When the department arrived, they found a vehicle, driven by John Climer, had left the road and crashed into a tree. The department noticed signs of alcohol impairment and he was arrested.
Climer pleaded guilty to 6th OWI and another charge was dismissed and read in. Climer was sentenced to 3 years of probation with a condition of one year jail time. His license was also revoked for 2 years and he must install an ignition interlock device.
