Ordinances Readings Approved at Clark County Board of Supervisors Meeting

-The Clark County Board of Supervisors approved the 2nd reading of two ordinances and the 2nd and 3rd reading of another at their meeting last week.The board approved the 2nd reading of two ordinances that better defined the rules and regulations of the Clark County Board and the various county committees and commissions. These rules need to be updated on a regular basis and the Corporation Counsel took the time to do that at the end of 2013.
The 2nd and 3rd reading of an ordinance was approved, making it a law. The ordinance deals with the hiring of employees into the Clark County Sheriff?s Office as well as the disciplinary process for employees within the department.
