Owen-Withee School Board January Meeting

The Owen-Withee School Board discussed cosigners and the ?cold days? at their meeting on Monday.At the Annual Meeting each year the Board approves short term borrowing should the District need to borrow to meet its obligations until revenues catch up with expenditures. With the switch to Forward Financial as the district?s lender, a resolution needed to be passed to identify who could authorize short term borrowing for the District. The board unanimously approved the president, treasurer and clerk as the cosigners for the district.
Also, because the district has enough days, hours and minutes needed to meet state mandates, the board unanimously approved forgiving the two ?cold days? the district had in January and instructed that if a third day is necessary yet this year, it be brought back to the Board for discussion.
