Get Ready, Girl Scout Cookies on Sale Now

-It?s the most wonderful time of year for some people?Girl Scout Cookies are on sale now.I spoke with local Girl Scout, Mariah Bushman, about why she joined the scouts and why she feels other girls should as well.
Mariah said, "I decided to be in Girl Scouts because it seemed like a lot of fun and my friends wanted me to be it. Girls can develop key skills like goal setting, decision making, people skills, money management and business ethics, so it's a really good experience."
Mariah was the top seller last year and she talked about the cookie sale, her ?trade secret? for selling cookies and her favorite type.
Maraih said, "We sell cookies to raise money for fundraisers and trips. You just go out and ask everyone you know. My favorite cookie is the caramel delights."
Mariah talked about what she received as top seller last year.
Mariah said, "I did good. I sold 1,600 boxes. I got a laptop and a kindle among other little things."
