Registered Sex Offender Being Released in Colby on Friday

According to the Clark County Sheriff?s Department, Phillip Eggers will be released on Friday after serving his sentence and living at W361 Colby Factory Road in Colby.
Eggers served a prison sentence for second degree sexual assault of a child and his victims were pubescent female acquaintances. Eggers special conditions include comply with all requirements and he is a life time registrant of the Wisconsin Sex Offender Registration Program.
The Clark County Sheriff?s Department wants to remind residents that this sex offender has served the sentence imposed on him by the courts. He is NOT wanted by law enforcement at this time. This notification is not intended to increase fear; rather, it is their belief that an informed public is a safer public. Citizen abuse of this information to threaten, intimidate or harass registered sex offenders will not be tolerated.
