Clark County Board of Supervisors Approves Employee Handbook Resolution

-The Clark County Board of Supervisors approved a resolution that updated the Clark County Employee Handbook.Clark County adopted Part 1 and Part 2 of the Employee Handbook on November 13th and December 19th of 2012. Since then some issues and concerns have come up. The Personnel Committee of the county took a look at the issues and made changes to them with the help of the Corporation Counsel.
Some of the highlights of the changes include combining parts of the handbook, incorporating department work rules in several different departments, including updates that were approved this year, clarifying part-time employee holiday pay and updating benefit and health insurance information.
This resolution was passed with 26 voting yes and 2 voting no.
