Clark County Health Department Receives Mini-Grant from Security Health Plan

-Security Health Plan of Wisconsin, Inc., announced 17 recipients of Healthy Communities Mini-Grants, an investment of $134,000 in the members and communities it serves.The mini-grants are presented to nonprofit organizations focused on three health issues that need greater attention ? children?s health, behavioral health and health literacy.
To evaluate mini-grant applications, Security Health Plan teamed with leaders already working on these health priorities, said Jason Shrader, community benefits and prevention program manager at Security Health Plan.
Some groups that received the grants include the Clark County Health Department, Together for Jackson County Kids, Boys and Girls Club of Wisconsin Rapids and several others.
