Personnel Committee Meeting Held Before Neillsville City Council Meeting

-A Personnel Committee Meeting was held before the Neillsville City Council Meeting on Tuesday evening.The purpose of the meeting was to have the committee decide on several items that would then go to the common council.
The committee approved a $1 pay raise for their new Assistant Clerk-Treasurer, Barb Boyer. It was stated that when she was hired that Miss Boyer would receive a raise after a six month probationary period. Her raise will begin on December 16th. Neillsville Clerk-Treasurer Rex Roehl stated that ?we?d be in a pickle without her? as she has an excellent understanding of the new network put in place at city hall.
The committee also accepted the resignation of public works employee Wade Urban. Wade will be resigning on January 8th of 2014. Dave Flynn, Director of Public works for Neillsville, said Wade has been with the city just shy of 17 years. The committee members thanked Mr. Urban for all his work and called him a ?great asset to the city of Neillsville.?
These two items were then approved during the regular Common Council Meeting.
