Coronavirus Numbers for November 12th

-Taking a look at some local coronavirus numbers:

Clark County has seen a total of 1,439 positive cases.  Of those, 375 are currently active and 107 needed to be hospitalized.  Clark County has 23 people die from the virus.  Wood has seen a total of 2,717 positive cases.  Of those 767 are active.  Wood has had 16 people die from the virus.

The state has seen a total of 285,891 positive cases (an increase of 7,048 over the previous day) and 2,457 deaths, an increase of 62 over the previous day.  Of the positive cases, 13,507, or 4%, have been hospitalized.  For our other neighboring counties, in total, Chippewa has seen 3,086 positive, Eau Claire has seen 5,292 positive, Jackson has seen 972 positive, Marathon has seen 7,323 positive and Taylor has seen 748 positive.

Marathon has had 87 people die from the virus; Chippewa has had 33 people die from the virus; Eau Claire has had 35 people die from the virus; Taylor has had 10 people die from the virus; and Jackson has had 2 people die from the virus.
