11.5lbs of Marijuana Discovered During Traffic Stop Near Marshfield
Thursday, November 21st, 2013 -- 9:16 AM-A routine traffic stop in Marshfield led to the discovery of almost 12 pounds of Marijuana.
On Tuesday, the Marshfield Police Department stopped two vehicles near the City of Marshfield. A K9 unit detected the presence of drugs in both vehicles and they were immediately searched. During the search, 11.5lbs of high grade Marijuana was discovered as was 250 grams of marijuana-infused chocolate candy.
Two individuals were arrested and multiple counts of Delivery of Marijuana are being requested through the Wood County District Attorney?s Office based on an extensive investigation which lasted nearly two months.
The two individuals arrested were identified 25-year-old Aaron Keuntjes of Greeley Colorado, formally from Auburndale, and 23-year-old Alyssa Clapper of Marshfield.
The Marshfield Police Department received assistance from several other departments.
