The Clark County Board Of Supervisors Approves Resolutions
Saturday, November 16th, 2013 -- 9:08 AM
The Clark County Board of Supervisors approved a handful of resolutions during their Tuesday meeting. The first was to approve the committed fund balances for special revenue accounts. This is something that needs to be done per the Governmental Accounting Standards Board. Specific accounts get funds that stat in that account which includes aging, capital projects, computer equipment and wellness just to name a few.
The next resolution passed rescinded a resolution passed at the previous board meeting and established a new one. The previous resolution raised cremation fees from $80 to $85. However, it was discovered later that when it was increased, the fee was already at $125. The second part of the resolution increased the coroner?s share of the cremation fee from $45 to $50.
The final resolution simply approved the Mattes? addition to the Sylvan Cemetery Plat in the Town of Reseburg. Reseburg already approved this themselves, they just need to make sure it was okay with the county.
