Wood County Man Killed in Tractor vs. Car Crash Identified

-(WDLB) The Wood County man killed when his tractor was hit from behind by a car has been identified.The crash occurred at 1:30 p.m. on Highway 10 in Auburndale. According to the Wood County Sheriff's Department, 74-year-old Kenneth Brandl from Auburndale was going west on Highway 10 while pulling an empty gravity box, when his tractor was rear-ended by a car driven by 55-year-old Timothy Nelson from Plainfield.
Brandl was later pronounced dead at Ministry St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield. The State Patrol says alcohol does not appear to be a factor.
Investigators are still trying to determine how fast each motorist was going.
