Lindner Will Officially Sign with UW-Milwaukee Today
Thursday, November 14th, 2013 -- 11:33 AM-Jenny Lindner, a Neillsville High School Senior, will be playing for the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
Lindner, who signs her letter today, wants to become a dermatologist first a foremost, but she?s looking forward to playing Division I basketball in her home state.
Lindner is a two-time Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Association all-state selection and two-time Cloverbelt Conference East Division player of the year. She had offers from other schools, but she decided to stay in Wisconsin. She?s looking forward to the new experience of life in the big city compared to the small rural community of Neillsville. She?s also hoping that family and members of the community will still be able to come and watch her games.
Lindner will be taking pre-med classes as she pursues her degree. She is the first girl to go on and play Division I Basketball during Coach John Gaier?s time at Neillsville.
