Neillsville City Council Approves 2014 Budget

-Before the Neillsville Common Council meeting On Tuesday night Director of Public Works Dave Flynn gave his report during the regular meeting of the Commission on Public Works and Utilities.He mentioned that leaf pickup is ongoing with most of the city completed and Christmas decorations will be going up soon.
Demolition has been completed at the property at 108 W. 15th St. at a cost of over $9100. Flynn also said the electronic recycling event that was held on Nov. 8th had a pretty good turnout and they will be starting to make their sand/salt mixture for the winter months shortly.
During the regular Common Council meeting, the city budget for 2014 of $3,217,237 was approved and the council also approved a motion to get the Eisner property on W. 15th St. on the market for bids with right to refusal.
