NEW INFORMATION: Girl Flown to Hospital After Crash North of Augusta

-A teenage girl was flown to an Eau Claire Hospital after a crash north of Augusta on Monday night.According to the Eau Claire County Sheriff?s Department, the 16-year-old girl from Augusta was driving south on Highway 27 when she hit three cows that were loose on the highway. The girl then crashed into the side of a house.
The girl was airlifted to a hospital in Eau Claire and the extent of her injuries was unknown. The people inside the home were not hurt, but there is extensive damage to the vehicle and the home.
All three animals she hit were severely injured and had to be euthanized and the accident is still under investigation.
