UW-Extension's Farming the Web Program
Saturday, November 9th, 2013 -- 6:43 AM-UW-Extension and Clark County Land Conservation have teamed up with Chippewa Valley Technical College in Neillsville and North Central Technical College in Spencer to present the Farming the Web program.
The next class is being held Thursday, November 14th from 1pm-3:30pm at the CVTC Campus in Neillsville.
Instructors for the programs are Richard Halopka, Crops & Soils Agent, Clark County UW-Extension, and Matt Zoschke, Clark County Land Conservationist. Maria Bendixen, CVTC Farm Business Instructor, will also be teaching at the Neillsville location.
Topics covered in the two sessions will include using a search engine and key words to locate information, downloading farm management tools from the internet, spreadsheets, etc., setting up an email account and sending emails with attachments, using Microsoft Word 2010 to create a simple document and using Microsoft Excel 2010 to create a simple spreadsheet.
