Stanley Man Charged for Illegally Having Ammunition

-A Stanley man was charged with illegally having ammunition.As a result of an investigation by the Chippewa County Sheriff?s Department and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, Curtis Nitz, age 21, was charged with being an unlawful user of methamphetamine in possession of ammunition.
Nitz possessed 39 rounds of .338 caliber ammunition back on October 11th.
If convicted, he faces a maximum penalty of 10 years in federal prison.
