Ohio Company Files Lawsuit Against Oshkosh Corporation Regarding Postal Trucks Contract
Tuesday, July 6th, 2021 -- 8:05 AM
(Bill Wise, WRN) -An Ohio company is challenging the contract awarded to Oshkosh Corporation to build a new generation of mail delivery trucks for the U-S Postal Service.
Workhorse Incorporated filed the complaint last month. It contends the U-S-P-S gave the contract to Oshkosh even though the Wisconsin company plans to use internal combustion engines in some of the vehicles.
A federal judge is being asked to invalidate the six-billion-dollar contract. Oshkosh intends to build the delivery trucks in South Carolina.
