Products From Local Cheese Manufacturers to be Featured at 2021 Wisconsin State Fair in August

Products from some local cheese manufacturers will be featured at the 2021 Wisconsin State Fair in August.

Recently, the 2021 Wisconsin State Fair Dairy Products contest was held.  Of the 417 entries, a couple manufacturers in the area had top entries within the 49 classes.

Foremost Farms of Marshfield was the top entry for mild cheddar and Weber’s Farm Store in Marshfield had the top spot in drinkable cultured products with their low fat mango kefir.

They also received a second and third for their low fat raspberry kefir. Nasonville Dairy also received a third place award for their Basil & Tomato Feta Crumbles and a second for their reduced fat milk.

The 2021 Grand Master Cheesemaker, Grand Champion Butter, Grand Champion Yogurt, Grand Champion Sour Cream and Grand Champion Milk will be announced at the Blue Ribbon Dairy Products Auction on Thursday, August 12 at Wisconsin State Fair Park.
