Today?s election will decide which Republican candidate will face off against the one Democrat and one Independent candidates also running for the 69th seat. The 69th District is home to parts of Clark, Wood, Taylor and Marathon County.

There are four republicans running for the seat including business owner Tommy Dahlen of Granton, Marshfiled Alderman Alanna Feddick of Marshfield, business owner Bob Kulp of Stratford and teacher and former alderman Scott Noble of Marshfield.

Kenneth Sleazak of Neillsville is running as a Democrat and Tim Swiggum of Owen is running as an Independent. The special election to see who gets the seat will be on November 19th.

The 69th Assembly Seat was vacated by Scott Suder after 14 years when he accepted a position with Governor Walker?s Public Service Commission. Suder has since resigned from that position when controversy was discovered regarding a grant that was awarded to a Sportsmen?s Group, which Governor Walker has since rescinded. Suder has now taken a position in the private sector.
