Owen-Withee School Board Hears Administrator's Reports (Elementary)

-The Owen-Withee School Board head Administrator?s Reports at their meeting on Monday of last week.Lance Batchelor, Owen-Withee?s Elementary Principal, reported on Grandparents? Day, which was held on September 20th. 300 grandparents attended the afternoon festivities. Mr. Batchelor thanked all those who helped organize the event, especially Jean Gokey and the committee.
Parent/Teacher Conferences for Owen-Withee were held on October 7th and 10th with over 90% of parents attending. The Scholastic Book Fair was held in conjunction with the conferences.
On October 8th Mrs. Rabska and Mr. Weiler went to Madison to accept the Elementary?s School of Recognition Award. Owen-Withee?s ?Kids Club? started on Oct. 15 from 3:15 ?5:00PM. Some 60 students are registered.
A replica of a T-Rex skull visited the elementary school on Tuesday, October 15th in the IMC. The exhibit came to Owen-Withee from the Chicago Field Museum.
Finally, the WKCE testing window for students? grades 3-6 is October 28th?November 29th.
