Annual Caregiver Conference This Thursday

The Clark County Aging Department is holding their Annual Caregiver Conference on Thursday, October 24th and the Clark County Health Care Center.The conference will run from 8:45am-3:15pm. The focus of the conference will be ?Planning for Your Loved Ones Care? and topics like Guardianship, Powers of Attorney for Health Care and Finance and Hospice Care will be discussed.
Attorneys Molly Fellenz and Kate Schilling of the Greater Wisconsin Agency on Aging Elder Law Center will be on hand to discuss the basics of guardianship and Powers of Attorney for Health and Finance as well as Medicaid Estate Recovery changes in Wisconsin.
Christ Tarter, a social worker and hospice services of Ministry Home Care in Marshfield, will discuss why advanced directives and Hospice Services May be needed. The Greater Wisconsin Chapter of the Alzheimer?s Association will also be on hand.
