Marshfield Man Sentenced for Robbing Dorchester Warehouse

-A Marshfield man was sentenced here in Clark County on Monday for allegedly robbing a warehouse in Dorchester.Back in October of 2012, Randy Drexler, age 57, was arrested when he attempted to rob a Frito Lay warehouse in Dorchester.
A plea deal was reached when Drexler?s attorney found evidence that pointed to some uncertainty as to whether or not Drexler was guilty. Drexler claimed he had gotten permission from an employee to go into the factory and get some expired product for bear bait. That employee couldn?t be located, however. He also had a key for the facility because he had been in the pest control business at one point.
In the end, Drexler plead no contest for two misdemeanor charges of entry into a locked building and theft of moveable property. Two other charges were dismissed, but read into the record. Drexler was placed on two years? probation.
Drexler was recently sentenced to two years? probation for possessing a firearm when he?s not supposed to as a convicted felon and he will be at a plea hearing in Wood County today for allegedly threatening his ex-girlfriend with a firearm
