Third Mosinee Teen Charged In Crime Spree

A third Mosinee teen is being charged for allegedly being involved with a crime spree that spread between three counties.Two other Mosinee teens, Sawyer Wirkus age 17 and Nick Nesbitt age 18, allegedly stole two vehicles, attempted to steal two more, stole a gun and burglarized booth a cabin and a shed in Wood, Taylor and Marathon Counties.
Wirkus and Nesbitt have already appeared in court and have had $25,000 signature bonds set against them. The charges against them include burglary with a dangerous weapon, theft and criminal damage to property.
Investigators now say another teen, Garrett Niggeman age 18 of Mosinee, is also involved. He too has charges of burglary, theft and use of a dangerous weapon filed against him. He is free on a $12,000 signature bond.
Niggeman will appear in court on November 11th. Wirkus will be back in court November 14th and Nesbitt will be back in court on October 14th.
