The driver of the vehicle, 48-year-old Cora Fuller, fled into her home before the deputy could make contact with her to address the violation.
Eventually, the woman did come out of her home to speak with the deputy and he noticed that she appeared to be intoxicated. The deputy asked Fuller to complete a field sobriety test, but she refused. She then resisted the deputy and tried to go back into her home.

Fuller was arrested for suspicion of operating while intoxicated, her 4th offense. The deputy was treated for multiple dog bites at Riverview Hospital and is recovering. One of the dogs had to be euthanized because of its injuries and the other is recovering.
