Final "Bits and Pieces" from Tuesday Neillsville City Council Meeting

-Some final ?bits and pieces? from Neillsville?s City Council Meeting on Tuesday of last week.Police Chief Brad Lidner gave a report at the meeting. He said he?s still working with some properties on complying with city rules and regulations and he also mentioned that they're accepting resumes as Officer Kate McDonald will be leaving.
Also, it was mentioned during the meeting that the Herman and Hannah Hediger house has been put on the Historic Preservation and the Motorhead Mafia Car Club offered the city their thanks for allowing them to put on their car show. They were able to raise $2,600 for the American Cancer Society. The city also received a letter of thanks from an out-of-state resident that had help in selling his mother-in-law?s home.
The council also heard a Historic Preservation Commission Report. The Commission voted to keep their budget the same as last year, which is $1,900 and they're working on the Historic Walking Tour Brochures.
Finally, the council heard a report from the Neillsville Library Board. The board approved the library budget of $115,940. They also elected officers, held a discussion on new computers for the circulation desk, talked about switching internet providers and gave an update on repairs.
