Lease Agreement and Board Salaries at Loyal School District's Annual Meeting

-A lease agreement was approved at the Loyal School District?s Annual Meeting on Monday.The Loyal District currently rents out its old administration building to the Eau Claire Academy, which is a satellite school. The district did this last year, but if a district is renting or leasing some of its property, it must receive approval at the annual meeting by area citizens.
Rent is based on a sliding scale. The more students the academy has the more rent Loyal receives. As of now, Loyal is receiving around $500 per month in rent.
Also, at the beginning of the meeting, District Administrator Cale Jackson mentioned the two vacant seats on the Loyal Board. However, he did say that Pastor Dan Zimmerman will be filling one of those and he?ll officially start in that capacity at their meeting next week.
A $50 pay raise was approved for all the Loyal Board Members as well. This increases their pay to $1,490, $1,690, $1,590 and $1,740 depending on their position. This is the first increase in the past 10 year or so.
