Black River Falls Man Sentenced for Possession

One of two people arrested after a drug investigation in Black River Falls was sentenced in Jackson County Court on Monday.
According to the Jackson County Sheriff’s Department, in August of 2019, they executed a search warrant at a home on the 400 block of Chestnut Street in Black River Falls.
Charles Sarmiento and Sierra McKee, both of Black River Falls, were arrested. Sarmiento pleaded guilty to maintaining a drug trafficking place and possessing a short-barreled shotgun.
Three other charges were dismissed and read in. He was sentenced to 3 years of probation. McKee is facing charges of keeping and maintaining a drug trafficking place and possession of drug paraphernalia. She’s scheduled to be back in court in April.
