Appearances Start Off Last Week's City Council Meeting

-A couple appearances kicked off the Neillsville City Council Meeting last week.Deanna Heiman, Executive Director of the Neillsville Chamber of Commerce, gave a report on what?s been happening this past month.
The Neillsville Chamber, along with other residents, took part in the first impressions program. A group of individuals went to Wautoma and toured the community, looked at shops, grabbed a bite to eat and more. They were impressed with the community and the group would like to do another in Fenamore, Wisconsin.
Melissa Kono, Clark County?s new CNRED agent will compile the information the group put together about Wautoma and send it to their CNRED agent. There?s no word on whether the Wautoma Committee came to Neillsville for the First Impressions tour yet.
Deanna also mentioned some recent ribbon cuttings and the upcoming Autumn Harvest Festival.
Also, citizen Arthur Anderson made an appearance at the council meeting. He wanted to let the council know that he?s in talks with the school to be a crossing guard at 4th and Hewitt to help kids get to school.
