Several Donations Approved at Neillsville City Council Meeting

-The Neillsville City Council went through a long list of new business items at their meeting on Tuesday.The council approved a modified lot report put together by Ramaker and Associates, Inc. for the cemetery. The council needed to approve the cemetery lot upgrade from the company for $550 which they did.
They also approved a $300 donation from the Neillsville Rotary Club to be used for flowers around the town square clock. The city sent out another letter recently asking for donations for the hanging flower baskets in the city. $375 was given, the council approved the donation and the city has now covered the cost of the plants with that money.
The council also accepted $5,000 from the Listeman Foundation. $3,500 will be used for the 4th of July Fireworks and $1,500 will be used for Christmas Decorations.
Finally, donation wise, the board accepted $50,000 from the Listeman/Naedler Funds and that money was put into the economic development account.
