Jackson County Man Appears in Court for Child Abuse

-A Jackson County man appeared in court yesterday for hitting an 18-month-old child over a video game.At the end of July, Christian Cloud, age 21, was watching his son and he told authorities that while he was playing video games on his Xbox, his son started to play with the console.
Cloud said that he hit the boy, forcefully picked him up and threw him on the couch. He also told authorities that he may have shaken his son, but he claims he was so angry he doesn?t remember doing it.
Cloud has one count of physical abuse of a child, intentionally causing bodily harm filed against him.
He will appear in court again in September.
