The Neillsville City Council approved a residency requirement at their Tuesday meeting. This new requirement states that anyone who works with in the emergency services, such as police, fire fighters, EMT?s, must live within 15 miles of Neillsville.
The council also heard an officer?s report at the meeting. It was a fairly busy month for the Neillsville Police Department.
There were some complaints and accidents for Heritage Days, the Clark County Fair went off without a hitch, several property owners have been cited for cleanliness, a weather siren in the industrial park is out of commission, and Neillsville has also had an unusual amount of animal bites as well.
The council also heard what was discussed at a recent historic preservation meeting.
They also received good news about the city taxi service.
