Bomb Scare at Holiday Truck Stop in Osseo

-The Holiday Truck Stop off of I-94 in Osseo was completely shut down Thursday afternoon after a device resembling a pipe bomb was found.According to Osseo Fire Officials, around noon on Thursday someone spotted what looked like a pipe bomb in the parking lot of the truck stop.
Fire officials believed it was probably just a pipe that fell off a truck, but they took no chances and closed down the truck stop and created a safe zone. Especially since the pipe was located in a volatile area between the gas pumps and a large LP tank.
The Dane County Bomb Squad came from Madison to take care of the device. It wasn?t a pipe bomb. It was just a pipe with welded ends and paper stuffed inside.
