Local FFA Students and Chapters Recognized During National Convention

-A couple local FFA students will compete as Proficiency Award finalists.The National FFA has announced that 18 Wisconsin students will compete as finalists at this year?s convention. From our area, Aaron Zimmerman from Spencer will compete in Agricultural Communications and Deanne Marie Derks from Stanley-Boyd will compete in Dairy Production.
Wisconsin also received 15 gold ratings, seven silver ratings, one1 bronze rating and one participant.
Also, many chapters will be honored during the convention. 19 programs will be honored 3 Star Rated Chapters and from our area that includes Granton, Stanley-Boyd and Stratford.
Earning 2 Star ratings from our area will be Loyal, Spencer and Thorp.
