Fire at Storage Facility in Jackson County

-A fire in Jackson County caused over $500,000 in damage to a storage structure.On Monday, just before 10:30, the Black River Falls Fire Department received a page about a structure fire in the Township of Adams.
When the department arrived, a metal frame storage structure had heavy smoke and fire billowing from the windows. The owners of the property are James and Barb Haldeman.
The fire was under control just after Noon and no firefighters or civilians were hurt in the incident. The fire was reported by an owner of the structure who lives on the property.
The cause of the fire is unknown at this time. The Wisconsin State Fire Marshal?s Office is assisting the department with scene investigation to determine a cause and origin for the fire.
Damage to the structure and contents is estimated to be $550,000 at this time and is insured.
