Wisconsin's January All Milk Price

(Wisconsin Ag Connection) -The Wisconsin all milk price for January was $17.50 per hundredweight.
According to the Wisconsin Ag Connection, that's according to the latest USDA Agricultural Prices report, which stated that was 60-cents lower than last month's price and down $1.90 from last January.
The U.S. all milk price for January also averaged $17.50 per cwt., which was $1.00 lower than December 2020. All but one of the 24 major milk producing states had a lower price when compared with December.
Meanwhile, the Chicago Mercantile Exchange 40-pound block cheese price closed at $1.61 per pound on February 26, while barrels were $1.42 per pound. The CME butter price was $1.47 per pound.
For the week ending February 20, the Agricultural Marketing Service U.S. weekly 40-pound block cheese price averaged $1.66 per pound, and 500 pound barrels adjusted to 38 percent moisture averaged $1.49 per pound. The U.S. butter price was $1.36 per pound.
