-The Trempealeau County District Attorney announced that he filed a criminal complaint against 22-year-old Amanda Butts for her involvement with the death of 22-month-old Alexis Behlke.Back in June, police responded to a medical emergency call about Behlke being unresponsive. According to the criminal complaint, Behlke died as a result of acute intoxication due to the combined effects of oxycodone, diphenhydramine and amitriptyline which resulted in the loss of consciousness, respiratory depression, apnea, coma, anoxic brain injury and ultimately death.
Butts has been charged with first degree reckless homicide, which carries a maximum possible term of imprisonment of 60 years.
