Mixed Commodity Prices for Wisconsin in February

(Wisconsin Ag Connection) -The average price received by farmers for corn in Wisconsin during the month of February was $4.12 per bushel, according to the latest USDA Agricultural Prices report.
According to the Wisconsin Ag Connection, this was up 32-cents from December and 46-cents higher than the previous January. Soybeans prices were $10.60 per bushel, down 50-cents for the month, but $1.97 higher for the year.
Oats were $1.29 higher for the month at $4.07 per bushel. That was also $1.10 above January 2020. All hay prices in Wisconsin averaged $153.00 per ton in January, down $14.00 from December and $33.00 below January 2020.
The alfalfa hay price averaged $161.00, down $17.00 from the previous month and $30.00 below last January. And the other hay price averaged $115.00, down $9.00 for the month and $48.00 lower for the year.
