Osseo Police Make Arrest in Death of 22-Month-Old Girl

-The Osseo Police Department has arrested a woman in the death of a 22-month-old girl.Back in June, police responded to a medical emergency call about 22-month-old Alexis Behlke being unresponsive. Police say CPR already was in progress when they arrived. 22-year-old Amanda Butts had been watching the girl, her boyfriend?s daughter, that morning.
She was rushed to Mayo Health System Osseo, but was pronounced dead a short while later. The girl was reported as being sick before the incident.
The Osseo Police did arrest Butts on Thursday without incident, however they have not released any information on the results of an autopsy that was performed on the 22-month-old nor would they say what led to the little girl?s death.
Butts was arrested for First Degree Reckless Homicide and is currently sitting in the Trempealeau County Jail.
